Shalom u'Vrachah!
I hereby acknowledge receipt of your letter dated the 27th of Adar I, and in the meantime I have also received information from our mutual friends that the content of your letter is no longer relevant.
In any case, since we are approaching the days of Purim, I take this opportunity not only to confirm receipt of your letter but also to wish you and your family much joy in accordance with this month about which we are commanded to increase in joy. May Hashem grant you true reasons for genuine happiness—both in your activities for the benefit of the community and individuals as well as in your personal matters—in the language of the Megillah: "Orah v'Simchah v'Sasson v'Yakar" (light, joy, gladness, and honor), and may these blessings continue throughout the entire year.
Summary
The Rebbe teaches that Purim is a time to increase in true joy—both personally and communally—and blesses that this spirit should permeate all aspects of life throughout the year.
