מאז קבלת מכתבה לא הגיעו ממנה ידיעות נוספות. יתן השי"ת, שתוכל לכתוב לכאן בשורות טובות, בקשר לתוכן מכתבה ובכלל אודות הסתדרות טובה, ובפרט, שיחד עם בעלה תגדלו את ילדיכם לתורה ולחופה ולמעשים טובים.
היות שלפני זמן לא רב חגגנו את ימי החנוכה, כאשר בני ישראל מאירים את ביתם בתוספת מעט אור בכל יום – אור לא רק במובן הגשמי, אלא גם ובעיקר במובן הרוחני, יתן השי"ת שכך יהי' אצלה. והרי יהודים שהגיעו משם הוכיחו בחיי היום יום, הקשורים במסירת נפש יומיומית עבור תורה ומצוות, שאינם פוחדים ואינם מתחשבים עם שום דבר "חוץ מהשם
אחד"

Since receiving your letter, I have not received any further news from you. May Hashem grant that you will be able to write here with good tidings regarding the content of your letter and in general about a good settlement, and especially that together with your husband you will raise your children to Torah, marriage, and good deeds.
Since not long ago we celebrated the days of Chanukah, when the Jewish people illuminate their homes by adding a little more light each day—not only in the physical sense but also and mainly in the spiritual sense—may Hashem grant that it will be so for you as well.
Indeed, Jews who have come from there have demonstrated in their daily lives, which are connected with daily self-sacrifice for Torah and mitzvos, that they are not afraid nor do they take into account anything except for Hashem Echad (the One G‑d).
