Shalom u'Vrachah! The days of Chanukah. Mrs. Rachel may she live [Russian] [free translation].

I acknowledge receipt of your letter, and at an auspicious time you will be mentioned at the Tziyun of my father-in-law the Rebbe according to the content of your letter.

May Hashem grant that you will have good news in this matter, and in general regarding the wellbeing of your entire family. Especially since you have seen miracles in how you succeeded in leaving there.

Blessings for healing and for good news.

I am enclosing a copy of my letter to some others who have come from there, and I hope its content will interest you—especially considering your descent from the Alter Rebbe.
