Shalom u'Vrachah!

Since a person must do what is within their natural means, it is appropriate for her, given her age, to settle in a place where the chances for a good shidduch are better (rather than taking a position in a remote corner). A job (shlichut) with the Agency marks her as belonging to a particular circle, and this could affect shidduch prospects, especially concerning yeshiva students. I will mention it at the Tziyun.

Summary

The Rebbe teaches that practical steps should be taken to improve shidduch opportunities, but one should also consider how certain roles or affiliations may influence perceptions in the shidduch process.
