Guidance on Siblings Living Near Their Mother and Shidduch Matters

The Rebbe advises that siblings should strive to live near their mother or at least near their sisters, so they can positively influence and assist their brother, especially regarding shidduch matters. He suggests relocating if possible and using local acquaintances or a rabbi to help.

Shalom u'Vrachah!

Regarding your brother, you should strive for him to live in proximity to his mother, or at least near his sisters. This way, they will be able to influence him and assist him in his affairs in general, and particularly regarding a shidduch (marriage match). Perhaps the best would be for him to move to Aleh K., as you write that your mother lives there. If possible, it is worthwhile to influence him even now through acquaintances in his area (or a local rabbi, etc.). I will mention it at the Tziyun.

Summary

The Rebbe teaches the importance of family support by encouraging siblings to live near their mother or each other, especially to help with significant life matters like finding a shidduch. Community involvement is also recommended when direct family support is not possible.
