Kiddushin — and the essence of marriage: — 'Behold you are betrothed to me.' Shalom u'Vrachah! – This means that two people belong exclusively to each other – and when those gathered express their joy and blessings to the couple – it should be in this same spirit, certainly not in its opposite or contradiction.

The content of mixed dancing: that a married woman dances with another man, or a girl dances with a boy, and there is no need at all for marriage or Kiddushin, etc. And this is done publicly and with noise, etc.!!!

It is similar below to above – when it is shown below that the marriage of the couple brings about the joy of closeness as mentioned above, then it is proper, etc., and so on.

Summary

This letter teaches that marriage signifies exclusive unity between husband and wife, which should be reflected in communal celebrations. Practices like mixed dancing undermine this sanctity by blurring boundaries meant to be preserved through Kiddushin.
