, כיון שמשפטים הם ענינים שבשכל, מהו ההכרח בההדגשה שאף אלו דוקא מסיני? אלא שידוע, וגם ראינו במוחש, אשר אפילו ענינים המוסכמים בשכל האנושי – באם אינם מיוסדים על אדני האמונה בהשם יתברך ויתעלה, בורא עולם ומנהיגו ובהשגחתו הפרטית, ואשר יסודותם בההלכה המסורה לנו מסיני – אפשר שיסולפו מן הקצה אל הקצה, שהרי
אדם
קרוב אצל עצמו, ועד כדי לומר על הצדק – רשע (ריש סגולה), ועל הרשע – צדק, ובסגנון
הכתוב
שמים אור לחושך וחושך לאור.
ומודגש זה גם בעשרת הדברות, אשר המצוות השכליות שבהם, כמו
כבד
את אביך ואת אמך, לא תגנוב וגו' יש להן קיום אך ורק באם מקורם ויסודם הוא
אנכי
ה' אלקיך גו' לא יהי' לך אלקים אחרים גו'.
וצדיקים
הדומים לבוראם – פעולתם בענינים שבין אדם לחברו ושבין אדם למקום היא באותה המסירת נפש ממש, וכהנהגת כבוד קדושת מו"ח אדמו"ר הרריי"צ זצוקללה"ה נבג"מ זי"ע, אשר על שמו נקראו המוסדות, שנהג כן משך כל ימי חייו בעלמא דין וסלל הדרך לדורות שלאחריו ללכת ולפעול בדרך האמורה, מתחיל לכל לראש מחינוך הבנים והבנות – בני אברהם יצחק ויעקב ובנות שרה רבקה רחל ולאה – בכל מקום שהם, ובפרט ובמיוחד במוסדות החינוך הנקראים על שמו – "אהלי יוסף יצחק ליובאַוויטש", כולל מוסדות החינוך לבנות "בית רבקה".
וגדול זכותם של כל אחד ואחת המתעסקים ומשתדלים בביסוס מוסדות אלו והתפשטותם בכמות (להרבות מספר התלמידים והתלמידות) ובאיכות (להרבות בידיעתם את תורתנו תורת חיים) ובאופן
דלימוד
המביא לידי מעשה, קיום המצוות בחיי היום-יום, בהתאם לההלכה בלי פשרות ובהידור.
וזכות זו בודאי שתמשיך ברכת השי"ת לכל המשתדלים והמתעסקים בגופם או בממונם או בשניהם גם יחד, להתברך בכל המצטרך בגשמיות וברוחניות גם יחד.
ובודאי אשר מתוך מנוחה והרחבה יוסיפו עוד יותר בסיוע והשתדלות ופעילות האמורה. וזכות הרבים, התלמידים והתלמידות שיחיו, תעמוד להם ולכל אשר להם בכל האמור.
בודאי ימסור פ"ש אישית בא-כוחי הרה"ג והרה"ח וו"ח אי"א נו"מ רב פעלים וכו' הררב"א שליט"א גורודצקי. ואכפול ברכתי גם בכתב – להצלחת החגיגה בכל המובנים.

Shalom u'Vrachah!
I received with pleasure the news about the celebration with the participation of honored rabbis, community activists, and lovers of Torah and mitzvah in general from the Casablanca community. Merit is brought about on meritorious days—these days fall between the portion of the giving of our Torah and the portion of Ve'eleh HaMishpatim, about which our Sages say: Just as the first (the giving of the Torah) is from Sinai, so too are these (the laws) from Sinai.
Seemingly, since mishpatim (laws) are matters understood by reason, why is it necessary to emphasize that even these specifically come from Sinai? It is known—and we have seen clearly—that even matters agreed upon by human intellect, if not founded on faith in Hashem, Creator and Guide of the world with His individual providence, and whose foundations are in halachah transmitted from Sinai—they can be distorted entirely. For a person is close to himself, to the point where he may call justice wickedness and wickedness justice; as Scripture says: "They turn light into darkness and darkness into light."
This is also emphasized in the Ten Commandments: The rational commandments within them—such as "Honor your father and mother," "Do not steal," etc.—have lasting value only if their source is "I am Hashem your G‑d... You shall have no other gods..."
The righteous who resemble their Creator act with true self-sacrifice both in matters between man and his fellow and between man and G‑d—just as my revered father-in-law, the Admor Rayatz (of blessed memory), after whom these institutions are named. He conducted himself this way all his life in this world and paved this path for future generations—to follow it beginning first and foremost with educating sons and daughters—children of Avraham, Yitzchak, Yaakov; daughters of Sarah, Rivkah, Rachel, Leah—wherever they may be; especially in educational institutions bearing his name: Oholei Yosef Yitzchak Lubavitch and Beis Rivka girls' schools.
Great is the merit of each person involved in strengthening these institutions—increasing their reach both quantitatively (more students) and qualitatively (deepening knowledge of our Torah of life), ensuring learning leads to action: daily mitzvah observance according to halachah without compromise or leniency.
This merit will certainly draw down Hashem's blessing for all who support these efforts physically or financially or both—to be blessed with all needs materially and spiritually together. Surely they will continue even more so to assist these activities with peace of mind and abundance. The merit of the many—the students—will stand for them and all theirs in all mentioned above.
My personal representative Haraha"g vavac"h iy"a nu m Rav Pe'alim etc. Harav A. Gorodetsky will certainly deliver a personal message. I repeat my blessing also in writing—for success in every aspect of the celebration.
