, כיצד אפשר להשיג אחדות כזו, אחרי שהבורא ברא בני אדם
שאין
דיעותיהם שוות, וגם הארץ הלזו שברא משונה היא בכל עניני' ופרטי' מן הקצה אל הקצה?
והביאור בזה מרומז בהפסוק

בתחתית ההר
, פירוש שכל ששים רבוא מישראל, הם ונשותיהם ובניהם ובנותיהם העמידו עצמם בתוקף "בתחתית ההר" – בביטול גמור ובשמחה עצומה לקראת קבלת התורה והמצוות, באופן שכל ענינים האחרים היו כלא היו, ועל ידי כך נעשו כאחדים ממש לקבל תורה אחת מה' אחד ולהמשיך אחדות השם – על ידי התורה והמצוות – בארץ.
ובודאי ידוע להם שלנשי ובנות ישראל הי' חלק בראש בנתינת התורה מסיני,
כסיפור
חכמינו ז"ל, מיוסד על הכתוב
"כה
תאמר לבית יעקב (אלו הנשים) ותגיד לבני ישראל (אלו האנשים)", שהקב"ה ציוה למשה רבינו לדבר תחילה עם נשי ובנות ישראל לקבל התורה, ואחר כך לבני ישראל הגברים. זאת אומרת שכל האמור לעיל שייך להן גם כן, ואדרבה ביתר שאת.
ויהי רצון שחפץ ה' בידן יצליח לקיים האמור בשמחה ובטוב לבב, בפועל ממש, כי
מעשה
עיקר, ולהיות דוגמא חי' לכל רואיהן,
ואין
לך דבר העומד בפני הרצון.

I pleasantly received your letter from the 2nd of Iyar and mentioned you at the resting place of my father-in-law, the Rebbe, for the fulfillment of your heart's desires for good and blessing.
As we stand in the third month, on this day when our ancestors came to the Sinai desert, you surely know our Sages' explanation on the verse 'VaYichan Sham Yisrael Neged HaHar' ("And Israel camped there opposite the mountain")—in singular form: all as one person with one heart. This was a prerequisite for receiving one Torah from One G‑d and to become one nation on earth—to draw down G‑d's unity into this physical world.
But how is such unity possible when the Creator made people with differing opinions, and even this physical world is diverse in all its aspects? The explanation is hinted at in the verse 'VaYisyatzvu BeTachtit HaHar' ("They stood at the foot of the mountain"): all 600,000 Israelites—their wives and sons and daughters—stood firmly at the foot of the mountain with complete self-nullification and immense joy toward accepting Torah and mitzvos. All other matters faded away; thus they became truly united to receive one Torah from One G‑d and bring His unity into this world through Torah and mitzvos.
You surely know that Jewish women and girls had a primary role in receiving the Torah at Sinai. As our Sages relate based on 'Ko Somar LeBeis Yaakov' ("Thus shall you say to the house of Jacob")—these are the women—and 'VeTagid LeBnei Yisrael' ("and tell it to the children of Israel")—these are the men—the Holy One instructed Moshe Rabbeinu to first speak with Jewish women about accepting Torah, then to Jewish men. This means everything above applies to you as well—and even more so.
May it be G‑d's will that your efforts succeed in fulfilling all this with joy and gladness of heart—in actual deed—for action is what counts; may you be a living example for all who see you. Nothing stands before true will.
