May the merit of this tzedakah stand by you in all that you need together with your entire family, and may you be able to share good news in all respects.
In response to your telephone inquiry about the medicine prescribed by the doctor – since Torah of Truth says "u'Rofeh Yerapeh" (and he shall surely heal), one must follow the doctor's instructions. Regarding what you wrote about the effect of the medicine making you feel not as you should, you should have told this to the doctor; and if he insists that you still need to take the medicine, you should ask him if it can be taken in a smaller dose. After he hears your reasons, one must follow what he says.
May the One Above, Healer of all flesh Who works wonders, send you healing through this doctor. May it be His will that you should share healthy and joyous news.
