29 Tevet, 5731.

In response to your question—(in your letter... attached regarding) the soul of your late husband. — Greetings and blessings!

The resurrection of the dead is a fundamental principle in our faith and our Torah, which is a Torah of life. However, at the same time, you should take an interest—when a suitable opportunity arises—in a match for yourself (and this will also be for the good of your children).

Summary

The Rebbe teaches that while faith in resurrection is essential, one should also pursue practical steps for personal and family well-being, such as considering remarriage when appropriate.
