With pleasure I received the news that a Gemilut Chasadim fund was established in memory of the holy Shneur Zalman, may G‑d avenge his blood.
May it be G‑d's will that the merit of this greatest mitzvah will serve as an elevation for this soul, and—distinguishing between the living and those who have passed—for the merit of all participants, may they be blessed with all their needs.
Based on our Sages' statement that the mitzvah of Gemilut Chasadim is great because it applies both to the poor and to the rich, may Hashem soon grant that this mitzvah will need to be fulfilled only for the rich—with the coming of the true and complete redemption through Moshiach Tzidkeinu.
I am enclosing my symbolic participation to fulfill what is said: "I am a friend to all who fear You and to those who keep Your precepts."
