שבהתקרבנו לחג הגאולה (דתורת החסידות) ולחודש הגאולה דימי חנוכה, נזכה בקרוב ממש ובעגלא דידן לגאולה מאת המתיוונים דתקופתנו זו, ואף ששקעה החמה בחוץ ידליק כל אחד ואחד נרות בשמן טהור דוקא, אף שהפּוליטעאישן אומרים שאין נפק"מ באור שהוא המכוון, שלא נגעה בו אפילו יד עכו"ם ואפילו לא הסיטו, להאיר בבת אחת את הבית ואת החוץ, ובאופן דמוסיף והולך.

I hereby acknowledge your letter from the 7th of Cheshvan with its enclosures. Thank you very much for your effort in providing me with a photocopy of the booklet of letters from my revered father-in-law, especially in light of our Sages’ saying: "Milta Albisheihu Yakira" (a matter clothed is precious).
You have surely received my letter regarding the rejection of the wording etc. in the 'Who is a Jew' law. In continuation of our conversation during your visit here about Chevron—and I believe Jerusalem was also mentioned—it would be worthwhile for you to look into the content of the Foreign Minister’s speech in Los Angeles at a large student gathering about ten days ago.
As I have said many times: if only they would preempt harm in time. The concern is increased by the fact that apparently this aforementioned speech is not being publicized among Jews themselves, even though it was delivered publicly and on behalf of the entire government.
May it be G‑d’s will that as we approach the Festival of Redemption (of Chassidus) and the month of redemption—Chanukah—we merit very soon and speedily in our days to redemption from those who try to Hellenize us in our times. Even though the sun has set outside, each person should light candles with pure oil specifically—even though politicians say there is no difference in what kind of light is used—oil that has not been touched even by a non-Jew nor even moved by them—to illuminate both inside and outside at once, in an ever-increasing manner.
