Through the guests from Kfar Chabad I received a letter from him and his family. I am sending him my heartfelt wishes that he should have no more pain or distress from now on, and that only goodness and kindness—goodness that is visible and revealed—should always be his news all his days.
Especially now as we have entered the new year from the month of Tishrei, whose conclusion is during our time of rejoicing and Simchas Torah—a good sign for the entire year: that it should be a year of Torah and of joy, both materially and spiritually together.
With blessings for good tidings.
Summary
The Rebbe writes that after hardship, one should anticipate only revealed good and happiness in the coming year. The period following Simchas Torah is an auspicious time for blessings of joy in both spiritual and material matters.
