הפתעה נעימה היתה לי לקבל ספר שהוציא לאור, שהמחבר כותב שנשלח לפי בקשתו.
ונוסף על עצם הענין של קבלת הספר, הרי זה מראה ג"כ שפגישותנו לא רק נשארה בזכרוני אלא גם בזכרונו הוא.
תקותי שמאז התראינו ממשיך בפעולותיו ועושה כל התלוי בו למלא תפקידו בתור "מוציא לאור", מתאים לגמרי להוראת מלים אלו, זאת אומרת שעניני הדפוס שמדפיס יפיקו אור אצל הקוראים, ובסגנון חמכינו ז"ל אין אור אלא תורה, תורתנו הנצחיית תורת חיים, כמש"נ נר מצוה ותורה אור, המאירה בכל מקום ובכל זמן, וביתר שאת בארץ אשר כל עמי תבל ארץ הקדש יקראו לה, ארץ אשר עיני ה"א בה מראשית השנה ועד אחרית שנה, כדברי ה' בתורתו.

I was pleasantly surprised to receive a book you published, which the author writes was sent at your request. Besides the matter of receiving the book itself, it also shows that our meeting not only remained in my memory but also in his. I hope that since we met you have continued your activities and are doing all you can to fulfill your role as a "publisher," fully in line with the meaning of these words—that the printed matters you publish bring light to readers. In the style of our sages of blessed memory: there is no light except Torah—our eternal Torah of life—as it is written: Ner Mitzvah v'Torah Or ("A mitzvah is a lamp and Torah is light") (Mishlei 6:23), which illuminates everywhere and at all times, and even more so in the land which all nations call the Holy Land—a land about which it is said: Eretz asher einei Hashem Elokecha bah meireishit hashanah v'ad acharit shanah ("A land that the eyes of Hashem your G‑d are upon from the beginning of the year until year's end") (Eikev 11:12), as stated by G‑d in His Torah.
