In response to your letter from Thursday. At an auspicious time, you will be mentioned at the holy resting place of my revered father-in-law, the Rebbe zatzal, for the fulfillment of your heart's desires for good in all matters you wrote about.

Regarding your writing about establishing a Tehillim society—it is unclear why there is any doubt about this matter. For always and everywhere Jews have lived, there have been Tehillim societies (and those who give Mishnayos classes) after prayer. Only in our generation has the number of those who follow this custom decreased, until my revered father-in-law, the Rebbe, leader of Israel, began his well-known efforts (for several decades already), efforts that include appealing to everyone to renew this ancient Jewish custom. This should be clear.

It is proper to check your tefillin if they have not been inspected in the past twelve months.
