בנועם קבלתי הידיעה מהרה"ג והרה"ח וו"ח אי"א נו"מ עוסק בצ"צ רב פעלים וכו' מוהר"ר בן ציון שי' שם טוב על דבר נדבת לבו הטהור ותרומתו לסמינר לבנות בכפר חב"ד.
שבכלל בענין הקשור עם חינוך בנות ישראל, שכל אחת מהן בת שרה רבקה ורחל [ולאה] אשר בנו בית ישראל, אין צורך להאריך לדכוותי'. ובפרט בימי הכנה אלו לחג השבועת זמן מתן תורתנו, שבקישור עם זה התורה בעצמה מדגישה ומקדימה בית יעקב - אלו הנשים לבני ישראל - אלו האנשים, כדיוק חכמינו ז"ל.
עוד זאת בנידון מוסד האמור, שחלק חשוב מהתלמידות הן בנות אחינו בני ישראל הספרדים, שבנוגע למר הן בבחינת עניי עירך.
ואם בכל מצוה שכר מצוה מצוה, על אחת כמה וכמה במצות הצדקה השקולה כנגד כל המצוות, ובפרט שכפי שכתב לי הרב"צ שי' שם טוב נתינותיו של מר הן בסבר פנים יפות, שיש בזה לא רק הנותן פרוטה לעני מתברך בשש, אלא גם המפייסו שמתברך בי"א (ב"ב ט, ב).
ויהי רצון שבשמחה ובטוב לבב ובאופן דמוסיף והולך יתן ויחזור ויתן להרבות צדקת פרזונו ויברכהו השם יתברך ויתעלה בהצלחה מופלגה בכל אשר יפנה.

It was with pleasure that I received the news from Haraha"g and Haraha"ch vavac"h iy"a nu"m, involved in tzt"z, a man of many accomplishments etc., Moreinu HaRav Ben Tzion Shem Tov regarding your pure-hearted generosity and donation to the girls' seminary in Kfar Chabad.
In general, regarding matters connected to educating Jewish girls—each one a daughter of Sarah, Rivkah, Rachel [and Leah], who built the House of Israel—there is no need to elaborate to you.
This is especially so during these days of preparation for Shavuot, the Time of the Giving of Our Torah. In connection with this, the Torah itself emphasizes and precedes "Beit Yaakov—these are the women—to Bnei Yisrael—these are the men," as our Sages precisely interpret.
Furthermore, regarding this institution: an important portion of its students are daughters of our Sephardic Jewish brethren who, concerning you personally, are considered "the poor of your city." If for every mitzvah "the reward for a mitzvah is another mitzvah," how much more so with tzedakah (charity), which is equivalent to all other mitzvot combined. Especially since—as Rabbi Ben Tzion Shem Tov wrote me—your donations are given with a pleasant countenance; thus not only does one who gives a coin to a poor person receive six blessings, but one who comforts him receives eleven (Bava Basra 9b).
May it be G‑d's will that with joy and gladness of heart—and in an ever-increasing manner—you will give and continue to give to increase "the charity of his stronghold," and may Hashem bless you with outstanding success in all your endeavors.
With blessing—in accordance with the wording used by my revered father-in-law, the Rebbe zatzal (may his merit protect us), which he received as a tradition from earlier generations—for receiving the Torah with joy and inwardness.
