ויהי רצון שבסגנון חכמינו ז"ל - מנייהו ומנאי יתקלס שמא עילאה.
בעתו קבלתי בנועם החומר על אדמו"ר הזקן שהוכן בשביל בתי הספר המ"ד וכתבתי על דבר זה להמשלח מר גולדשמידט שי', ובודאי נתקבל מכתבי.
ודבר בעתו מה טוב, בהמצאנו ימים ספורים לפני חג השבועות, זמן מתן תורתנו, אשר כסיפור חכמינו ז"ל ניתנה התורה רק אחרי שעשינו בנינו ערבים בעדינו, זאת אומרת התחייבות חינוך אמתי במלוא מובן המלה, לימוד תורת ה' וקיום מצוות ה' בחיי יום-יום. והרי זה חג מיוחד לכל אלו שזכו להיות עוסקים בשטח האמור, בפרט במסירה ונתינה המתאימות, וזכות הרבים מסייעתם.

I acknowledge—though belatedly due to many preoccupations, and I ask forgiveness—the receipt of your letter from Friday, 6 Iyar, in which you write about a course for teachers. In the coming days I will correspond with those among our activists in Eretz HaKodesh who are connected to this matter, as you suggested.
May it be G‑d's will that, in the words of our Sages—mineihu u'minai yitkalas shma ila'ah (from them and from us may the Supreme Name be glorified).
In due time I received with pleasure the material about Admor HaZaken that was prepared for the state religious schools (mamlachti dati), and I wrote about this to the sender Mr. Goldshmidt sheyichyeh; surely my letter has been received.
This is especially timely as we find ourselves just days before Shavuos, the time of the giving of our Torah. As our Sages recount, the Torah was given only after we made our children guarantors for us—that is, a commitment to true education in every sense: learning the Torah of Hashem and fulfilling His mitzvos in daily life.
This is therefore a special festival for all those privileged to be involved in this field—especially when done with appropriate dedication and giving—and the merit of the many assists them.
