Shalom u'Vrachah!
I acknowledge receipt of your letter with your request for a blessing and pan from 4/19. At an auspicious time it will be read at the resting place of my revered father-in-law, the Rebbe zatzal, after you inform me precisely in Lashon HaKodesh your name and your wife's name together with each of your mothers' names (as is customary to mention in prayer).
With blessing in the name of the Rebbe shlita, Mazkir
P.S. Since very often the delay in G‑d's blessing for living and enduring offspring is due to lack of precision as required by the laws and regulations of family purity (niddah, hefsek taharah, immersion in a kosher mikvah, etc.), resulting from lack of knowledge in all its details, they should clarify all details with a qualified rabbinic authority and henceforth observe them as required. It is also proper that they check the mezuzot in their home to ensure all are kosher according to halachah, and that he check his tefillin; and every weekday before putting them on, set aside a few coins for charity—of course, giving charity should be without a vow.
In my secretariat we do not write French; therefore this letter comes in Lashon HaKodesh. However, he may write also in French since I read that language.
Since very often: See also above Igros Kodesh vol. 23 letter #8797 and those referenced there. See below #9218 and #9216.
Summary
The Rebbe teaches that blessings for children are connected to careful observance of family purity laws and recommends checking mezuzot and tefillin as well as giving charity daily. Attention to these details brings spiritual merit and opens channels for blessing.
