I acknowledge receipt of your letter from September 1st with its enclosure. Many thanks for the good news that your trip will be in a manner permitted by Hashem Yisbarach to travel, and not in a way that involves Shabbos desecration in the greatest measure [when one travels on a ship belonging to Jews, operated by Jews and captained by Jews, throughout all 24 hours of Shabbos, during which much forbidden labor on Shabbos is performed—lighting, extinguishing, writing, etc.].
This is the greatest heartache to see such things in general, and even greater is the pain and distress when one makes a journey to our and everyone's holy land, that it should be done with so much Shabbos desecration by so many people involved in this ship; as mentioned, it is very difficult even to discuss this. May Hashem Yisbarach help you—also in the merit of changing your travel plan for the better—that your journey should be at a good and auspicious time and you should be blessed with inscription and sealing for a good and sweet year.
