בעתו קבלתי מכתבו מא' בתמוז, וחכיתי עם המענה שלי עד לאחרי הפגישה עם הרה"ג והרה"ח וו"ח אי"א נו"מ בעל מדות ורב פעלים הרא"י שליט"א אונטרמן רב הראשי.
וכנראה מקטעי מכתבי העתים וגם ממכתב כ' וכן מרושם השיחה האמורה, המצב בהענין עליו כותב הולך ומשתנה מיום ליום, מצד כמה גורמים שמתערבים בזה ומטעמים שונים ומשונים.
ויהי רצון שזכות הרבים יסייע שכל הענין יסתדר באופן הכי טוב באמת, וידוע גודל ענין הכשרות וגודל הזהירות שצריך להיות בזה, בכל מקום ובכל זמן, ובפרט בתקופתנו ובארץ הקדש, ארץ אשר עיני ה"א בה מראשית השנה ועד אחרית שנה.

I received your letter dated 1 Tammuz in due time, and I waited with my response until after my meeting with Haraha"g and Haraha"ch vavac"h iy"a nu"m Ba'al Middos and Rav Pe'alim HaRaI shlita Unterman, Chief Rabbi.
It appears from excerpts of newspaper articles as well as from your letter and from the impression of the aforementioned conversation that the situation regarding the matter you wrote about is changing from day to day due to several factors involved for various reasons.
May it be G‑d's will that the merit of the many will help so that everything will be resolved in the best possible way. The great importance of kashrus and the need for utmost vigilance in this matter is well known—everywhere and at all times, especially in our era and in Eretz HaKodesh, a land upon which "the eyes of Hashem are always upon it from the beginning of the year to its end."
