Shalom u'Vrachah!
I acknowledge receipt of your letter. As we come from the day of good tidings and redemption of Admor HaZaken—Yud Tes Kislev—the day of our redemption and the liberation of our soul. This day was established as a festival for generations to come as an everlasting remembrance. The redemption and its content are connected to the words of David, King of Israel, on behalf of every Jew: "Padah v'Shalom Nafshi miKrav Li ki b'Rabim hayu Imadi" (He redeemed my soul in peace from battles against me because many were with me). May it be G‑d's will that, in accordance with our Sages' teaching on this verse: The Holy One says—whoever engages in Torah study, acts of kindness, and prays with the community—I consider it as if he has redeemed Me and My children from among the nations.
May each individual among all Israel strengthen themselves in these three lines: involvement in Torah study, acts of kindness (and mitzvos in general), and prayer—illuminated by his teachings—the teachings of Chassidus. May all this be in a state of redemption from all obstacles and hindrances.
And may it be done in a manner of advancing and increasing light in all these matters—until our complete and true redemption through Moshiach Tzidkeinu speedily in our days.
With blessings for good news in all the above, for a joyous Chanukah and happiness. For the L‑rd has desired His service in education.
Summary
