Shalom u'Vrachah!

I acknowledge receipt of your letter. As we stand between one redemption (that of the Mitteler Rebbe) and another redemption (that of the Alter Rebbe), both of which were established as festivals for all generations as an everlasting remembrance—and the redemption and its content are connected to the words of David, King of Israel, on behalf of every Jew: "Padah v'Shalom Nafshi miKarev Li ki Rabim Hayu Imadi" (He redeemed my soul in peace from battles against me because many were with me)—may it be G‑d's will that in accordance with our Sages' teaching on this verse: The Holy One says that whoever engages in Torah study, acts of kindness, and prays with the community is considered as if he has redeemed Me and My children from among the nations—may everyone be strengthened, within all Israel, in these three lines: involvement in Torah study, involvement in acts of kindness (and mitzvos in general), and service through prayer—illuminated by the teachings of those mentioned above—the teachings of Chassidus. May all this be in a state of redemption from all obstacles and hindrances, increasing light continually in all these matters—until our complete and true redemption through Moshiach Tzidkeinu speedily in our days.

With blessings for the Festival of Redemption and for good news in general and specifically.

Summary

The Rebbe teaches that during these special days between redemptions we should strengthen ourselves in Torah study, acts of kindness, and prayer—illuminated by Chassidus—so that we experience personal growth and prepare for ultimate redemption.
