I hereby acknowledge receipt of the pan which was read at an auspicious time at the holy resting place of my father-in-law, the Rebbe, of blessed memory.

Since Divine Providence has granted you the merit and success to teach Torah to the Jewish people—i.e., one who is saturated in order to saturate others—it is certain that you are also involved in teaching the inner dimension of Torah which in our generation has been revealed through Chassidus. For this is the path that leads to love and awe of G‑d, as explained in Hilchos Yesodei HaTorah by our teacher the Rambam at the beginning of chapter two, as well as in many other places. Most importantly, this is evident in practice: it is impossible to reach love and awe except through appropriate contemplation. See also the introduction to Chovos HaLevavos.

You surely know about the story of the Festival of Redemption on Yud-Beis and Yud-Gimmel Tammuz—the redemption of my father-in-law, the Rebbe, leader of Israel.
