In response to your letter from the 22nd of Sivan in which you write about where you are learning for the new term, and mainly that until now you have not shown a fitting desire to learn and you ask for a blessing. However, it is self-evident that merely asking for a blessing does not suffice; one must exert effort to learn as is proper. And not only on the day the letter is received or for tomorrow, but also for a much longer period. When one does this for a certain time, afterward there will no longer be a need to force oneself and one will receive an ever-increasing desire to learn.
You should have consulted with the Rav... shiyichyeh about this and your other problems and told him everything you wrote to me. Since he sees you regularly, he will surely be able to help you in these matters. May Hashem grant you success.
I hope that you keep up with the Tehillim study as it is divided by the days of the month and that you will continue to do so.
