במענה על מכתבו מט"ו אלול, הנה יבואו בכתובים - או הוא או אביו שי' - עם הנהלת תומכי תמימים אשר במאנטרעאל ויודיע להם מצב הלימוד שלו וישאלם אם יש כתה מתאימה בשבילו שילמוד שם. ובאם כן הוא, אזי ישתדל לקבל הוויזה לארצוה"ב וכן הוויזה לקנדה ויוכל להיות כאן חדש תשרי ואח"כ לנסוע ללמוד בישיבת תומכי תמימים אשר במאנטרעאל, ובכל אופן יתן לו השי"ת פתיחת הלב והמוח לעבדו ית' במסירה ונתינה, בלימוד תורת הנגלה ותורת החסידות עבודת התפלה וקיום המצות בהידור.

Shalom u'Vrachah!
In response to your letter from the 15th of Elul: You or your father sheyichyeh should meet in person with the administration of Tomchei Temimim in Montreal and inform them of your learning situation. Ask them if there is a suitable class for you to study there. If so, you should try to obtain a visa for the United States as well as a visa for Canada. You can then be here for the month of Tishrei and afterwards travel to study at the Tomchei Temimim Yeshiva in Montreal. In any case, may Hashem grant you an open heart and mind to serve Him with dedication—through learning both Nigleh (revealed Torah) and Chassidus, prayerful service, and meticulous mitzvah observance.
