I received your letter regarding the calendar. Today I inquired about it, and presently they do not have it because there are few who seek such a Russian calendar. He suggested ordering it from Russia, but this is a lengthy process for our times and therefore I did not agree to it.

He gave me an address in Warsaw where perhaps it is available for purchase. Perhaps you can try this option. But I will repeat again what I told you last year: You will certainly find calendars in the university library in Riga—annual astronomical books and similar publications by the dozens—and in them you will find everything necessary to calculate the sunset table for Moscow's horizon, Leningrad, etc.

For example: For the years 1930–31 there already appeared Berliner Astron. jahrb., and based on it you can easily calculate a sunset table within a day or two. I spared your money—the price of each is one mark—and did not buy it because surely they will lend it to you for a few days, and afterwards you will not need it anymore.

In a few days I will come to Riga, but I hasten with this letter in case the matter is urgent.
