Shalom u'Vrachah!

...And as we find ourselves in the month of mercy and goodwill, as the Alter Rebbe says (in Likkutei Torah on Ani LeDodi VeDodi Li, Devarim 32:2), "the King is in the field and receives everyone graciously," etc.

May it be His will that in all of the above matters it should be as in former days with complete goodwill—the days when Chabad activities were at their fullest, as is stated in the well-known Iggeres HaKodesh: in every aspect—essence and extension, etc.

With blessings for success in your holy work and for good news, and for a good inscription and sealing [in the Book of Life].

Summary

The Rebbe encourages utilizing Elul's special opportunity when "the King is in the field," urging that Chabad activities reach their fullest expression. He blesses for success in holy endeavors and a good inscription for the coming year.
