At an auspicious time, you will be mentioned at the holy resting place of my father-in-law, the Rebbe zatzukal lehe nbagam zy"a, in accordance with the content of your letter. May it be G‑d's will that just as you wrote your request, so too you will share good news in all matters mentioned in your letter.

This also applies to activities in spreading the wellsprings; this has no connection whatsoever to our Sages' saying that a prisoner cannot free himself from prison—because there is simply no situation of imprisonment here, G‑d forbid. All the more so compared to our previous country (the Soviet Union), where even there regarding this matter such a situation did not exist; how much more so in these countries. On the contrary: it is clearly seen that when one puts forth even minimal effort in this dissemination, specifically in these years it is most successful—and it all depends only on one's will.

It is obvious that what is written here does not come as rebuke, G‑d forbid, but rather as an expression of pain that Anash—and especially those whose roots are from Chassidic stock—are not at all utilizing the great opportunities given to them in this regard. Especially since this also increases joy and gladness of heart and consequently also physical health in a literal sense. And that's sufficient.

As we stand in the month of Nissan and approach Pesach—the season of our freedom—may you experience freedom from all disturbing matters in everything written in your letter and may you share good news.
