בנועם קבלתי מכתבם, חתום על ידי המשתתפים, ובעת רצון הזכרתים על ציון כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר, ויהי רצון שיבשרו טוב, ויוכלו להוסיף בהפצת היהדות מתוך בריאות הנכונה ומתוך מנוחה ושמחה וחיות חסידותית, כמודגש בתורת הבעל שם טוב ז"ל, אשר זכרון שנת המאתים להסתלקותו עולה לפנינו בכל יום ויום דשנת סגולה זו.
והרי המכוון שבזכרון כגון דא הוא שיתבטא במעשה הוא העיקר, ולא רק בד' אמות של כל אחד ואחד, אלא בסביבה הכי רחבה, על פי כלל גדול שבתורה ואהבת לרעך כמוך, ובפרט על פי ההדגשה וביאור ענין זה בארוכה בתורת הבעל שם טוב וביחוד בתורת החב"ד, שאהבת ישראל אהבת התורה ואהבת ה' חד הוא.

With pleasure I received your letter, signed by the participants, and at an auspicious time I mentioned you at the resting place of my revered father-in-law, the Rebbe. May it be G‑d's will that you share good news and be able to increase in spreading Judaism with proper health and with tranquility, joy, and chassidic vitality—as is emphasized in the teachings of the Baal Shem Tov of blessed memory. The memory of the two-hundredth year since his passing rises before us every day of this auspicious year.
The purpose of such remembrance is that it should be expressed in action—which is primary—not only within each individual's own four cubits but also in the broadest environment possible. This follows the great principle in Torah: VeAhavta LeRei'acha Kamocha ("Love your fellow as yourself"), especially as this is emphasized and explained at length in the teachings of the Baal Shem Tov and particularly in Chabad teachings—that Ahavas Yisrael (love for a fellow Jew), love for Torah, and love for G‑d are one.
With honor and blessing for good news in all mentioned above.
