במענה למכתבו מכ"ג שבט והקודמו.
בהיותי אתמול על הציון הק' של כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר זצוקללה"ה נבג"מ זי"ע, כנוהג לפני כל ראש חדש, הזכרתי הענינים אודותם כותב וכן את זוג' תי'.
ויהי רצון שיבשר טוב בטוב הנראה והנגלה בכל מה שכותב.
ובפרט אשר מתקרבים לחודש אדר, חודש ההצלחה לבני ישראל ועניניהם בטוב הנראה והנגלה, וכידוע המעלה דפורים לגבי חנוכה (ראה ט"ז לשו"ע או"ח סי' עת"ר סק"ג והקדמה לשערי אורה), הרי גם בהנ"ל יהי' למטה מעשרה טפחים מנפש ועד בשר.
וזכות התעסקותו בחנוך על טהרת הקודש בודאי שתעמוד לו.
בברכת הצלחה בעבודתו בקדש מתוך שמחה וטוב לבב ולבשו"ט בכל האמור.

Shalom u'Vrachah!
In response to your letter from the 23rd of Shevat and the previous one. Yesterday, when I was at the holy resting place of my father-in-law, the Rebbe, zatzal (may his merit protect us), as is my custom before every Rosh Chodesh, I mentioned the matters you wrote about as well as your wife. May it be G‑d's will that you receive good news—good that is visible and revealed—in all that you write about.
Especially as we approach the month of Adar, the month of success for the Jewish people and their affairs in visible and revealed good. As is known, Purim has a special quality compared to Chanukah (see Taz on Shulchan Aruch Orach Chaim 688:3 and the introduction to Shaarei Orah), so too in your matters may it be "below ten handbreadths," from soul to flesh. The merit of your involvement in education according to Torah purity will surely stand by you.
With blessings for success in your holy work with joy and gladness of heart, and for good news in all mentioned above.
