Shalom u'Vrachah!
... And as we are approaching the month of Adar, which is a month of success for the Jewish people and in all their matters, may it be G‑d's will that you receive good news in all matters about which you write, including both spiritual and physical health together, as explained also in Chassidus and known from the teachings of the Baal Shem Tov. This year marks two hundred years since his passing (yahrzeit), regarding the verse "Ki Tireh... Azov Ta'azov Imo" ("When you see... you shall surely help him"), specifically with the body.
With blessings for good news.
Regarding what you noted in Bava Kama Mishnah chapter 8 – to answer Rashi's commentary that it is referring to an Eved Ivri acquired by a court – from Maayot Yom Tov's note and Tosafot Rebbe Akiva Eiger – so too writes Tiferet Yaakov on the Mishnayot there. To comment on your note: a) Even one who sells himself goes free at Yovel. b) The Mishnah's explanation must be according to all opinions: for the Rabbis as for Rabbi Eliezer who holds that even one who sells himself serves only six years (Kiddushin 14b). As for my humble opinion regarding Rashi – he rejects the explanation that he is appraised like a Canaanite slave – since Jews do not have such equality, as it is forbidden to make him perform slave labor; he is commanded "it shall be good for him with you," etc. Therefore, it must be explained as specifically like an Eved Ivri, as noted (questioned) by Maayot Yom Tov – they assess the difference between selling in installments or all at once and deduct accordingly. And this is clear.
Summary
The Rebbe connects blessings for success in Adar with teachings from Chassidus and addresses intricate details regarding Eved Ivri in Mishnah, emphasizing compassion and proper interpretation within Torah law.
