Shalom u'Vrachah!
It came into my hands—and according to Chassidus, nothing happens by chance; everything is by Divine Providence—a section from a recent letter in which you write about organizing people who are like-minded regarding necessary changes in the field of economics, etc., and that several Orthodox religious figures are joining this organization.
Generally, when one begins to change and innovate in one area of life plans and worldly influence, it becomes easier for a person to introduce innovations and changes in other areas of their outlook as well. At the same time, just as with all natural phenomena where the law of mutual influence prevails, certainly this is also true here. I mean the mutual influence of the Orthodox members on the other members and on the organization's overall agenda concerning our religion—Torah and its mitzvos. There is always room for improvement in this area.
You, as the organizer of the group—and based on what was mentioned above from your letter, also its originator and driving force—can perhaps also be the initiator and proclaimer that a return to our ancient-new-eternal sources is essential: the Torah of Moshe from Sinai and its mitzvos. This must be done practically, for action is paramount; only action is the true test of any approach or person.
In the style of Megillah Esther—which will be read in just a few hours: "U'mi yodea im le'et kazot higat lamalchut" (And who knows if for just such a time you have attained royalty).
With honor and blessings for good news regarding all that was mentioned above and for a proper Purim—that is, as stated in Megillah Esther: "Asher yishletu haYehudim..." (That the Jews should rule...).
There are countless different interpretations to Megillat Esther, but all agree that even though Haman said to destroy and kill—and Mordechai (and conversely)—they were united in one opinion; even Achashverosh and his entire generation agreed with them, without a shadow of doubt—who is a Jew.
Summary
The Rebbe teaches that involvement in communal change brings opportunities for spiritual influence. He urges returning to Torah roots through practical mitzvah observance and reflects on Jewish identity as an unwavering principle throughout history.
