I hereby acknowledge receipt of your letter from Rosh Chodesh Menachem Av with its enclosure. It is surprising that recently all of Anash have begun to shorten their letters; it seems that specifically in this year of Ufaratzta they are acting in the opposite manner regarding writing, etc.

May it be G‑d's will that during these forty days of this year (before the upcoming Rosh Hashanah), it should be as explained in Igeres HaTeshuvah by our master the Alter Rebbe at the end of chapter 9: he was accustomed to read one page, etc., in order to complete everything that needed to be accomplished in this year—a full year and for it a sabbatical year for Hashem, a year of Ufaratzta. And behold, Hashem fulfills the will of those who fear Him; only one must truly desire it.

May it be G‑d's will, in continuation to the matters you wrote about in your letter, that you should share good news of a fundamental change as mentioned above. And as you are involved with tzt"z, may you share good news in those matters as well; from this will also flow into your personal matters—health and settling down soon with a good match both materially and spiritually—very soon.
