לאחרי הפסק הכי ארוך נתקבל מכתבו מב' לחדש מנחם ר"פ בקיצור הכי נמרץ מפעולותיו במשך החדשים שעברו, ובודאי למרות שכותב שחסרה לו התכונה להמשיך בקישור עם אלו שנפגש והשפיע עליהם, מתגבר על חסרון זה, או יותר נכון מעורר מכחות הנעלמים שבו שיבואו בפועל בכיוון האמור, ז.א. להמשיך הקישור, שהרי מגע הראשון הוא בדוגמת חרישה ולכל היותר זריעה, והכוונה והתכלית ה"ה התבואה והפירות כמובן, ומאי פרי מצות ויסודם יראת שמים, וכמ"ש את האלקים ירא ואת מצותיו שמור כי זה כל האדם, ואם בכל הענינים אמרו אין לך דבר העומד בפני הרצון, עאכו"כ בענין שראה פירות פרי טוב בעמלו ואדם חס על מעשי ידיו, ואדרבה רוצה שיפרח וישגשג...
במ"ש אודות ארגון מקהלה מבני חב"ד בנגוני חב"ד, נכון הדבר במאד מאד, וידוע מה שכ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר סיפר בזה בהנוגע למקהלה שהיתה בתומכי תמימים דליובאוויטש, הועתק ג"כ במפתח לספר הנגונים חלק א', ומהרצוי ביותר שיתעסקו בזה עתה, בכדי שתהי' מאורגנת ככל הדרוש לחדש תשרי הבע"ל ואולי גם לח"י אלול, באם תהי' התועדות, ליום בהיר זה בו נתגלו שני המאורות. ומובן שמרשותו ומזכותו למסור דברי אלו לאנ"ש היכולים ומסוגלים לסייע בהאמור, אם ע"ד מרז"ל כבד את ה' - מגרונך או עכ"פ בטרחתם.

After the longest break, your letter from the 2nd of Menachem Av was received, with a very brief summary of your activities over the past months. Certainly, even though you write that you lack the ability to maintain connections with those you have met and influenced, you are overcoming this shortcoming—or more precisely, you are awakening your hidden strengths so that they will be actualized in this direction; that is, to continue the connection. After all, the first contact is like plowing or at most sowing; but the intention and purpose are the grain and fruits, obviously. And what is the fruit? Mitzvos whose foundation is awe of Heaven, as it is written: 'Et HaElokim Yera Ve'et Mitzvotav Shmor Ki Zeh Kol HaAdam' (Fear G‑d and keep His commandments for this is all of man). And if in all matters it is said 'there is nothing that stands in the way of will,' how much more so in a matter where one has already seen good fruit from his efforts—and a person cares for his handiwork and wants it to flourish and thrive...
Regarding what you wrote about organizing a choir from among Chabad members with Chabad melodies—this is very much correct. It is well known what my revered father-in-law, the Rebbe, told about this regarding the choir that existed in Tomchei Temimim in Lubavitch; this was also copied into the index of Sefer HaNiggunim volume I. It would be most desirable for people to engage in this now so that it will be properly organized for the upcoming Tishrei holidays—and perhaps also for Chai Elul if there will be a gathering—on this bright day when two luminaries were revealed.
It is understood that you have permission and merit to share these words with Anash who can and are able to assist in this matter—whether according to our Sages' statement 'Honor Hashem with your throat,' or at least through their efforts.
