במענה למכתבו מי"א סיון, שז"ע נתקבל, ותוכנו אודות יסוד מפלגה בלתי מפלגתית באה"ק ת"ו.
וכמדומה כבר כתבתי לו בכגון דא, שהתחלה בזה צריכה להיות דוקא מאלו הנמצאים באה"ק ת"ו, שאז ביד אלו הנמצאים מחוץ לה גם הם לעשות בזה, ומובן שדוקא בחדשים אלו, שלפני בחירות יש חשש להתנגדות מוגברת מכו"כ חוגים, אפילו מאלו שזמן רב לפני בחירות, אולי לא היו מתנגדים בגלוי וק"ל.
ומובן שהנ"ל אמור בהנוגע ליסוד מפלגה, אבל אין פוטר כלל את כאו"א שהיכולת בידו לעשות הכל בענינים על מפלגתים (ולא כביטויו בלתי מפלגתים), כוונתי - עניני הפצת היהדות המסורתית, אשר באה"ק ת"ו כר נרחב לפעולות מסוג זה, ובפרט בתוככי הנוער.
ומובן הפלא התמי' והצער על מיעוט הפעולות בכגון דא וחוששני שלא רק מיעוט אלא מיעוטא דמיעוטא ופחות מזה, וקשה להאריך בדבר המצער ובפרט בריחוק מקום, שהרי הודיעו חז"ל אל תדין את חברך כו'.
ויהי רצון כיון שנמצאים אנו בחדש הגאולה של כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר זצוקללה"ה נבג"מ זי"ע נשיא ישראל, אשר היתה בזה גאולת הרבים בעת ההיא ולשנים ולדורות הבאים לאחרי זה, כמובן מפרשת המאסר והגאולה, יביאו זה בפועל בפעולות באותם השטחים עליהם מסר נפשו הק' הם הפצת היהדות בכלל והפצת המעינות ביחוד שכל השייכים ויודעים עד"ז מחויבים בזה.
וכיון שלהצלחת העבודה צריכים מנוחה שמחה וטוב לבב הנה רועה ישראל השי"ת יאר פניו ויגאל את כאו"א בתכ"י מכל ענינים המבלבלים וימלאו את כל הנ"ל מתוך הרחבה אמיתית הן בגשמיות והן ברוחניות.

In response to your letter from 11 Sivan, which has been received, regarding the founding of a non-partisan party in Eretz HaKodesh. As I believe I have already written to you on such matters, the beginning must specifically come from those currently in Eretz HaKodesh; then those outside can also act. It is understood that especially in these months before elections there is a concern for increased opposition from various circles—even from those who long before elections might not have openly opposed it.
This applies to founding a party, but it does not exempt anyone who is able from doing everything possible in supra-partisan matters (not as you phrased it "non-partisan"). I mean activities for spreading traditional Judaism, for which Eretz HaKodesh is a broad field—especially among the youth.
The wonder, astonishment, and pain at the lack of such activities is clear; I fear it is not just a lack but an extreme scarcity or even less. It is difficult to elaborate on such a painful matter, especially from afar, as our Sages taught: "Do not judge your fellow..."
May it be G‑d's will that since we are now in the month of redemption of my revered father-in-law the Rebbe zatzal nasi Yisrael—which was redemption for many at that time and for years and generations after—this will be brought into action in those areas for which he gave his holy life: spreading Judaism in general and spreading the wellsprings in particular. All who are connected and aware are obligated in this.
And since success requires tranquility, joy, and gladness of heart—may the Shepherd of Israel, may He shine His face upon you and redeem each one immediately from all disturbing matters so that all the above can be fulfilled with true expansiveness both materially and spiritually.
