ותקותי חזקה, אשר יודעים הם על המסופר בתורתנו הקדושה תורת חיים, אשר בצלם אלקים עשה את האדם, ובכדי שיהי' הצלם ניכר על פני האיש הישראלי, נער או זקן, הרי זה על ידי קיום מצות האלקים, ולכל לראש - תלמוד תורה אשר שקול כנגד כולם.
וכיון שאמרו רז"ל, אשר אין לך דבר העומד בפני הרצון, בודאי החלטת התלמידים להתנהג באופן האמור, יקיימוה גם בפועל ויצליחו, וכמאמר רבותנו ז"ל יגעת ומצאת,
והוריהם שי' והמורים שלהם שי' ירוו מהם רוב נחת אמיתי הוא נחת יהודי מסורתי חסידותי.
בודאי ימסור פרישת שלום שלי לכל אלו אשר באו בהתמונה, ועל ידם גם לשאר בתי ספר חב"ד אהלי יוסף יצחק ליובאוויטש, אשר בארצנו הקדושה תבנה ותכונן במהרה בימינו על ידי משיח צדקנו.

I acknowledge receipt of your letter from the 26th of Sivan with its enclosure, the photograph of your class's students, may they be blessed by Hashem.
My strong hope is that they know what is told in our holy Torah, the Torah of life: that man was created in the image of Elokim. In order for this image to be recognizable on the face of a Jew—whether young or old—it is through fulfilling the commandments of Elokim, and above all—Torah study, which is equal to all other mitzvos combined.
Since our Sages say that nothing stands in the way of willpower, surely the students' decision to behave as described will also be fulfilled in practice and they will succeed. As our Sages said: "You have toiled and you have found." Their parents and their teachers will derive much true satisfaction from them—satisfaction that is Jewish, traditional, and chassidic.
Certainly you will convey my greetings to all those who appeared in the photograph, and through them also to the other Chabad schools Oholei Yosef Yitzchak Lubavitch in our holy land—may it be rebuilt and established speedily in our days through Moshiach Tzidkeinu.
