לאחרי הפסק הכי ארוך נתקבל מכתבו מה' אייר עם המצורף אליו המגבית שערך לטובת כולל חב"ד אשר באה"ק ת"ו.
ואף שלדכוותי' בודאי אין צורך בהבעת תודה וכו' וכו' בכל זה אביע ת"ח על גודל הקורת רוח והנחת רוח שגרם לי בפרטיות, נוסף על גודל הענין והמצוה, אשר אף שנח"ר פרטי שלא בערך הוא לענין המצוה שבדבר, עלי להביע רגשותי בהנוגע לי, ובפרט שדוקא ענינים טובים ומשמחים אין מצוים כ"כ, שזהו עוד מגדיל היוקר כל מאורע כהאמור, ובפרט הנעשה באתערותא של הפועל עצמו מבלי שיעוררוהו עד"ז.
וכיון שבאים אנו מחדש ניסן ונמצאים בחדש זיו, בו נולדו זיותני עולם, וידוע דבר האריז"ל, שכשהימים האלו נזכרים (ה"ה גם) ונעשים, הנה יתוסף בכל ענינים הפרטים והכללים, בתכ"י, חירות וגאולה להרבות זיו בעולם, זיו והארות מעשה אבותינו, וכמובא בתניא, שכל אבריהם ועשיותיהם רק לרצון העליון לבדו כל ימיהם.

And although for someone like yourself there is certainly no need to express thanks, etc., nevertheless I express my gratitude for the great satisfaction and pleasure you have given me personally, in addition to the greatness of the matter and mitzvah itself. Even though personal satisfaction is incomparable to the mitzvah involved here, I must express my feelings regarding myself—especially since truly good and joyful events are not so common; this increases even more the preciousness of every such occurrence, especially when it is done through one's own initiative without being prompted.
And since we have entered from the month of Nissan into the month of Ziv (Iyar), in which "the radiances of the world were born," and it is known from the Arizal that when these days are recalled (and also reenacted), there is an increase in all matters both individual and communal—with wealth, freedom, and redemption—to increase radiance in the world: radiance and illumination from our ancestors' deeds. As brought in Tanya, all their limbs and actions were solely for the Supreme Will all their days.
