במענה למכתבו מו' אייר, ר"פ בקיצור הכי נמרץ בהנוגע לההתועדויות באחרון של פסח, ורוצה אני לקוות שגם בענין דחלוקת מצה שמורה פעלו בה באופן המתאים ובאופן הרצוי, וכן אשר סו"ס יחדיר גם במחנם הט' הרעיון, שהלשון יפוצו מעינותיך חוצה, מדויק הוא לכל פרטיו, ז.א. שצ"ל הפצה, דוקא, ושיפוצו ויגיעו גם חוצה, ומובן שמילוי התפקיד מוטל על אלו היודעים מאגה"ק של הבעש"ט האמורה, ובעיקר שזכו לשמעו מרבנו וללמוד תורתו ושיחותיו ע"ד גודל והכרח הדבר, וא"ת למה לא נודע הכרח זה כ"כ בזמניהם, הנה מה תועלת בקושיות ותירוצים, כי העיקר הוא המעשה בפועל, וק"ל.

In response to your letter from the 6th of Iyar, regarding the matter in brief concerning the gatherings on Acharon Shel Pesach, I hope that also regarding the distribution of shmurah matzah you acted in a fitting and desirable manner. Likewise, that you will finally instill in your group the idea that the phrase 'Yafutzu Maayanosecha Chutzah' ("Your wellsprings shall spread outward") is precise in all its details; that is, there must be spreading specifically, and that they should reach even outward. It is understood that fulfilling this task falls upon those who know from the Igros Kodesh of the Baal Shem Tov mentioned above—especially those who merited to hear it from our Rebbe and to learn his Torah and talks about the greatness and necessity of this matter. And if one asks why this necessity was not so well known in their times—what benefit is there in questions and answers? The main thing is action in practice. That is sufficient.
