Shalom u'Vrachah!

Your letter was received in its time, with an outline of your activities, and also about the meeting with the avrech … may he live. The time of the month of Tishrei did not allow (cf. Kiddushin 29a, "a time-bound commandment") answering such letters in detail; and surely since then there has been an increase in several of the matters you wrote about, and you will write about this. וכל המפרט בכגון דא הרי זה משובח "And whoever gives details in such a matter is praiseworthy" (patterned on the Pesach Haggadah: "whoever tells at length of the Exodus from Egypt is praiseworthy"),

May it be G‑d's will that, since we are coming from the seventh month, which is sated with all good (Vayikra Rabbah 29:8), and is the month general to the whole year (see letter 6546), in the activities mentioned too, which you will surely continue throughout the year, the inspiration of that general month will be felt, an inspiration that leads to action, and to an increase in the activities, both in quantity and in quality, and also in those engaged in them, both in quantity (which includes drawing more avrechim into these activities) and in quality. And the greatness of the reward is explained in very many places (see, for example, Avos 5:18).
