מאשר הנני קבלת מכתבו מכ"ב אדר, ות"ח על כתבו ר"פ מהתועדות דחג הפורים, ולפלא אשר בהתועדות זו השתתפו רק ג' בחורים תלמידי הישיבה, אף שבכלל בעניני פורים כמה הגבלות וזהירות בטלות הן, והאומנם כ"כ גדול מורא בשר ודם? ויהי רצון אשר מתוך בריאות הנכונה גם בהרגשו הוא (כי באמת כמו שאמרתי לו בריא הוא, אבל גם הרגש בלתי נכון גם ממנו צריך להפטר ולשללו).
יעשה כל התלוי בריבוי גבולו גם מתוך תלמידים האמורים וחברא חברא אית לי', והרי שמן שהוא פנימיות התורה מפעפע בכל מקום, וק"ל.

I acknowledge receipt of your letter from the 22nd of Adar, and thank you for writing about the beginning of the farbrengen on Purim. It is surprising that only three yeshiva students participated in this farbrengen, even though generally many restrictions and cautions are set aside for Purim matters. Is fear of flesh and blood truly so great?
May it be G‑d's will that with proper health—also in how one feels (for as I have told you, he is healthy, but even an improper feeling must also be removed and negated)—he will do everything possible to expand his influence, including among these mentioned students and their friends. For oil, which is the inner dimension of Torah, seeps everywhere. And this is clear.
