I acknowledge receipt of your letter from the 20th of Kislev, the month of redemption, in which you included a summary of your activities over the past weeks. Certainly, even if you do not mention it explicitly—and similarly, it is not customary to mention in such matters—some of those active in spreading Judaism and disseminating the wellsprings strive to maintain contact with those they have met even afterward. It is clearly evident that in such cases one must arouse and renew the inspiration from time to time, so that not only will the good results continue but they will be increased and expanded, as is clearly seen—especially regarding matters of spreading the wellsprings. As is known about the vitality of a spring: anything that comes from it is like forty se'ah (a halachic measure), even though there is an advantage that human hands have not intervened; this is understood.

With blessings for success in Torah study—both Nigleh and Chassidus—and for meticulous observance of mitzvos, as well as success in influencing others.
