במענה למכתבו, בו כותב ראשי פרקים מאשר עבר עליו ובעיקר לאחרונה מפשיטת הרגל של אחת הפירמעס וכו'
והנה פשוט אשר אין כל מקום ליאוש ח"ו ובפרט לאנשי דורנו זה אשר נשארנו כאודים מוצלים מאש ע"י נסי השי"ת בגלוי ממש, שעי"ז נתחזקה בשכלו של כל אחד יותר וביותר האמת המוחלטות אשר ממנו - השי"ת - לא יבצר כל דבר, אלא שרצה בורא העולם שיעשו כלים בדרך הטבע, ואז שולח ברכתו והצלחתו גם למעלה מדרך הטבע, וכמה שכתוב וברכך ה' אלקיך בכל אשר תעשה, אשר עפי"ז עצתי שישתדל בעניני מסחר או משרה דוקא באם תהי' בסוג שיכול לנצל כשרונותיו או ידיעותיו, ויעשה זה מתוך חוזק הבטחון, וכיון שעפ"י הנ"ל אין זה אלא כלי מובן שעליו להוסיף בעניני תורה ומצות, ויוסיף השי"ת נותן התורה והמצוה בברכותיו בהמצטרך לו, ובזה גם החלטתו להפריש יותר מעט ממעשר מהרוחים שלו לצדקה, ומה טוב שיתן מיד איזה סכום ע"ח הרווחים שימציא לו השי"ת בקרוב והרי זה משמש הוכחה על בטחונו בהזן ומפרנס לכל.
ע"פ המבואר בכ"מ, מזמנים המסוגלים לנתינת צדקה הוא בכל יום חול לפני תפלת הבקר.
בטח יודע משלשת השיעורים השוים לכל נפש מתקנת כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר זצוקללה"ה נבג"מ זי"ע, בחומש תהלים ותניא הידועים ועכ"פ ישמור עליהם מכאן ולהבא.

In response to your letter, in which you write main points about what you have gone through, especially recently with the bankruptcy of one of the firms, etc. It is clear that there is absolutely no place for despair, G‑d forbid—especially not for people of our generation who have survived like brands plucked from the fire by the revealed miracles of the Holy One Blessed be He. Through this, each person's mind has been strengthened more and more in the absolute truth that nothing is withheld from Him—the Holy One Blessed be He. Rather, the Creator of the world wants us to make vessels through natural means; then He sends His blessing and success even beyond nature. As it is written: 'And Hashem your G‑d will bless you in all that you do.' Therefore, my advice is that you should strive in business matters or a position specifically if it is in a field where you can utilize your talents or knowledge, and do this with strong trust. Since according to the above this is only a vessel, it is understood that you should increase matters of Torah and mitzvos; and Hashem—the Giver of Torah and mitzvah—will add His blessings for all your needs. Also, decide to set aside a bit more than a tenth from your profits for charity; it would be good to immediately give some amount as an advance on the profits that Hashem will soon provide you. This serves as proof of your trust in the One Who sustains and provides for all.
As explained in many places, one of the auspicious times for giving charity is every weekday before morning prayers.
You surely know about the three daily study portions established by my revered father-in-law, the Rebbe zatzal—Chumash, Tehillim, and Tanya—which are well known; at least keep them from now on.

Summary
The Rebbe teaches that after financial loss one must not despair but instead strengthen faith in G‑d's ability to provide. By increasing Torah study, mitzvos observance, and giving charity—even before seeing new profits—one creates vessels for Divine blessing.
