לאחרי הפסק ארוך נתקבל מכתבו מי"ז מנ"א, ויהי רצון שכמו שמבשר ע"ד הטבת מצב זוגתו תחי' כן יבשר בקרוב שחזרה לאיתנה לגמרי וכן בשו"ט בכל הענינים אודותם כותב.
במ"ש אודות רצונו להתעלות בהרגש אור החסידות וכו' אך הנהו רחוק מזה.
ח"ו לאמר כן, וכמבואר בתניא אשר קרוב אליך הדבר מאד, ואם בכאו"א הדברים אמורים, עאכו"כ בזה שהשגחה עליונה העמידתו בחלק היפה לקרב לבן של בני ישראל לאבינו שבשמים שגודל הנחת רוח למעלה אין לשער, ומובן גודל הברכה וההצלחה המושפעת עי"ז אל המשתדלים, ורק שעליהם לחזק ולהרחיב הצנור והכלים לקבלתם, וק"ל.
והדרך להתקשר יותר בחסידות ועניני' ולהתאחד עמהם, כבר מבואר בכמה ספרי ומאמרי דא"ח שיחות של רבותינו נשיאנו הק' ויעיין בהם והשי"ת יצליחו.
כבקשתו אזכיר את כל אלו שכותב אודותם, - ויודיע שמותיהם (ושם האם), - על הציון הק' של כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר זצוקללה"ה נבג"מ זי"ע, ויהי רצון שגם בזה יבשר טוב.

Shalom u'Vrachah!
After a long break, I received your letter from the 17th of Menachem Av. May it be G‑d's will that just as you report an improvement in your wife's condition, so too you will soon report that she has fully recovered, and likewise share good news in all matters about which you write.
Regarding what you wrote about your desire to elevate yourself in feeling the light of Chassidus, etc., but that you feel distant from it—Heaven forbid to say so! As explained in Tanya, "Karov eilecha hadavar me'od" ("The matter is very close to you"). If this applies to everyone, how much more so for someone whom Divine Providence has placed in the fortunate position of bringing the hearts of Jews closer to our Father in Heaven—a source of immeasurable pleasure Above. It is understood how great are the blessing and success bestowed upon those who strive in this work; they only need to strengthen and broaden the channel and vessels to receive them. This is clear.
The way to connect more deeply with Chassidus and its matters and to unite with them has already been explained in many books and discourses of Chassidic teachings and talks of our holy Rebbeim. Study them, and may Hashem grant you success.
As you requested, I will mention all those about whom you write—please provide their names (and their mothers' names)—at the holy resting place of my father-in-law, the Rebbe zatzal. May it be G‑d's will that you will also share good news regarding this.
