עס איז באוואוסט די עצה פון חכמנו ז"ל, אז אין אזא מצב דארפמען געבען מערער צדקה און אין א גרעסערער מאס וכל המרבה הרי זה משובח, און די צדקה וואס מען באשטימט צו געבען, קען מען דאס געבען אין מערערע מאל אויב עס איז שווער צו געבען אויף איין מאל, און די פאסענדע צייט צו געבען דאס, צי אין א אופן פון אנשרייבען א טשעק אדער אפלייגען מזומן אין א ספעציעלען ארט, איז דאס יעדער וואכען טאג פארן לייגין די תפילין און דאוונען, און אז מען טוט דאס מיט דעם שטארקען בטחון בהשם יתברך וואס ער האט אונז געגעבען די מצות און האט אונז פארזאגט אויף דעם, אז וחי בהם, אז דאס בריינגט לעבען און אין א גוטען אופן זעהט מען די ברכות פון השם יתברך אין דעם וואס מען נויטיגט זיך, און דורך מצות הצדקה בפרט זעהט מען דאס אין דעם ענין הפרנסה, און איך וועל זיין צופרידען צו הערען גוטע בשורות אז איר טוט אזוי און זעהט די ברכות פון השם יתברך אין דעם וואס איר באדארפט.

I was pleased to receive regards from you and your family, may they live, through Haraha"ch iy"a nu"n one engaged in tzt"z Mohe Yosef HaLevi Weinberg, who also writes to me that unfortunately lately your livelihood situation has not been the best.
It is well known the advice of our sages of blessed memory that in such a situation one should give more tzedakah and in greater measure—whoever increases is praiseworthy. The tzedakah that one determines to give can be distributed over several times if it is difficult to give all at once. The appropriate time to give it—whether by writing a check or placing cash in a special place—is every weekday before putting on tefillin and davening. When this is done with strong trust in Hashem Yisbarach Who gave us the mitzvos and promised us regarding them "VeChai Bahem" (that through them you shall live), this brings life and in a good way one sees the blessings of Hashem Yisbarach in what one needs. Especially through the mitzvah of tzedakah one sees this regarding livelihood. I will be pleased to hear good news that you are doing so and seeing the blessings of Hashem Yisbarach in what you need.
