I was pleased to receive your letter in which you write that you are distributing Chabad books among the youth and all your friends and acquaintances in general, and you see and recognize that the whole world is yearning for Torah and mitzvos. This strengthens my hope that you will not be satisfied with your activities until now but will increase them even more.

It is understood that these activities also include the positive effort to raise from among those influenced by you guides and influencers in their own environments. After all, this should be the goal of every teacher and guide—that his students also become mentors in their circles and surroundings. It is clearly seen that when one engages in this with dedication and attention, one succeeds beyond expectation.

Surely you meet with Anash and Anash activists frequently and also participate in their gatherings; after all, participation with the community is of great importance.

You surely know about the three daily study portions established by my father-in-law, the Rebbe—of blessed memory—in Chumash, Tehillim, and Tanya. At the very least, keep them from now on.
