במענה על מכתבו מיום השני;
פשוט אשר כל ההידור שאפשר באיזה מצוה שתהי' נכון ביותר ופשיטא בהנוגע לציצית וטלית וכדרז"ל זה א-לי ואנוהו, התנאה לפניו במצות כו' ציצית נאה (שבת קלג, ב) והרי ידועה הכוונה בעטיפת ציצית להמשיך עליו מלכותו ית' אשר היא מלכות כל עולמים וכו' לייחדה עלינו ע"י מצוה זו (תניא ריש פרק מ"א) שלכן כל ההידור האפשרי בזה משפיע על כל שאר עניני האדם, הן שיהי' מצמר רחלים בלי שום פקפוק, עבודה לשמה בכל הענינים כו' וכו' וכמבואר בשו"ע ובשולחנו של רבנו הזקן שו"ת דברי נחמי' ועוד.
ויהי רצון שתהי' מצוה גוררת מצוה להוסיף נר מצוה תורה אור ומאור שבתורה זוהי פנימיות התורה בעצמו ובחלקו בעולם עדי יקוים היעוד ולילה (גלות נמשל ללילה) כיום יאיר בגאולתנו האמיתית והשלימה על ידי משיח צדקנו.

In response to your letter from Monday: It is obvious that every possible enhancement in any mitzvah is most proper, and certainly so regarding tzitzit and tallit. As our Sages say: 'Zeh E-li ve'anveihu' (This is my G‑d and I will glorify Him), beautify yourself before Him with mitzvot, such as a beautiful tzitzit (Shabbat 133b). It is well known that the intention in wrapping oneself in tzitzit is to draw upon oneself His blessed sovereignty, which is the sovereignty over all worlds, to unite it upon us through this mitzvah (Tanya, beginning of chapter 41). Therefore, every possible enhancement in this affects all other aspects of a person's life—whether it be from pure lamb's wool without any doubt, or work done for its own sake in all matters, etc.—as explained in Shulchan Aruch and the Shulchan of Rabbeinu HaZaken, Responsa Divrei Nechemiah, and others.
May it be G‑d's will that one mitzvah leads to another mitzvah, increasing 'ner mitzvah v'Torah or' (the candle of a mitzvah and the light of Torah), and the illumination within Torah itself and one's portion in the world until the promise will be fulfilled: 'And night (exile likened to night) will shine like day' with our true and complete redemption through Mashiach Tzidkeinu.
