איך בין געווען צופרידען צו דערוויסען זיך דורך הרה"ג וו"ח אי"א נו"נ עוסק בצ"צ בעל מדות מו"ה שלמה זלמן שי' העכט, פון אייער אויפנעמען בספר פנים יפות זיין הצעה, צו העלפען דעם קרן גמילות חסדים על ידי הכולל חב"ד אשר בעיה"ק ירושלים תבנה ותכונן על ידי משיח צדקנו, און האט מיר אויך אפגעשיקט אייער טשעק פאר דעם קרן גמ"ח האמור, און בייגעלייגט איז דא די קבלה.
בעת רצון וועל איך מזכיר זיין די אלע מתעסקים אין דעם, לויט ווי עס שרייבט הרב העכט שליט"א אויף דעם ציון הק' פון כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר זצוקללה"ה נבג"מ זי"ע, און השם יתברך זאל העלפען אז נאך פילע יארען זאלט איר קענען אוועקגעבען זיך אויף טאן אין ענינים של תורה ומצוה ובפרט צדקה ששקולה כנגד כל המצות, ווי ערקלערט בארוכה בספר תניא קדישא פרק ל"ז, און אין מצות הצדקה גופא, איז דאך גמילות חסדים פון די העכסטע מעלות אין צדקה (כהפס"ד בשו"ע יו"ד סי' רמ"ט סעיף ו').
און לויט דער הודעה פון השי"ת, מלוה ה'' חונן דל וגמולו ישלם לו (משלי יט, יז) איז דאך זיכער אז עס וועט באצאלט ווערען צו יעדער איינעם פון די אויבען געזאגטע אין דעם וואס זיי נוטיגען זיך, זיי מיט זייערע בני בית שיחיו, סיי בגשמיות און סיי ברוחניות.

I was pleased to learn through Haraha"g vavac"h iy"a nu"n one who is involved with tzt"z and possesses good character traits, Shlomo Zalman Hecht, that you accepted his proposal with a pleasant countenance to assist the Gemilus Chasadim fund through Colel Chabad in the holy city of Jerusalem (may it be rebuilt and established by our righteous Moshiach), and he also sent me your check for this mentioned Gemilus Chasadim fund, with the receipt attached.
At an auspicious time I will mention all those involved in this matter, as Rabbi Hecht shlita writes, at the holy resting place of my father-in-law, the Rebbe zatzal. May Hashem help that for many years you should be able to continue engaging in matters of Torah and mitzvahs, especially tzedakah which is equal to all mitzvahs, as explained at length in Sefer Tanya Kadisha chapter 37. And within tzedakah itself, Gemilus Chasadim is among the highest levels (as ruled in Shulchan Aruch Yoreh Deah siman 249:6).
And according to what Hashem has informed us: 'Malveh Hashem chonen dal u'gemulo yeshalem lo' (He who gives a loan to Hashem is gracious to the poor; He will repay him) (Mishlei 19:17), it is certain that each one mentioned above will be repaid in whatever they need — they and their households — both materially and spiritually.
