Your letter from the day of the yahrzeit of Rabbeinu HaZaken was received, in which you write about increasing in studies, study hours, etc., and at the end of your letter that you are striving to arrange the third meal on Shabbos for the students of the high school.

The greatness of this matter certainly does not need elaboration, as we see tangibly the success in drawing students closer through such activities. These matters become engraved more easily and deeply than through other means, especially since the holiness of Shabbos assists in this. This holiness affects even a completely unlearned person (see Demai, beginning of chapter 4), all the more so students—especially at Minchah time on Shabbos, which is "Reva d'chol Revin" (the most favorable time).

May it be His will that you succeed in all the areas about which you write. It has already been stated by our Sages: "You have toiled and found [success]." The merit of the founder and director of the yeshivah—my revered father-in-law, the Rebbe—whose yahrzeit is approaching, will stand by you to lessen concealments and increase success.
