מאשר הנני קבלת מכתבו מיום הראשון, ומה שכותב שהי' לו צער ממה שכתבתי ע"ד החלישות בהפצה ומצטדק שהרי לא הי' הפסק הפצה לגמרי.
כמדומני ברור שלא כתבתי "לגמרי", אלא רק ע"ד חלישות אבל בהנוגע לפועל חלישות בהפצה אומרת שהגיעו ספרי דא"ח למספר קטן יותר של אנשים, ז. א. שבהנוגע לכמה אנשים הופסק הדבר, והרי אין אתנו יודע עד מה וצריך לנצל כל הזדמנות ואפילו שאיננה מתאימה לסדר וכידוע דברי כ"ק אדמו"ר מוהרש"ב נ"ע נעתקו במבוא לקונטרס ומעין עמוד [] עיי"ש, ואין רצוני להאריך בזה כיון שכותב שלהבא יתקן הדבר, ויה"ר שיהי' התיקון מתאים לשמו שאז הוא כהמבואר באגרת התשובה לרבנו הזקן סוף פרק ט'.
ת"ח ת"ח על הבשו"ט מהוספת שיעורי דא"ח הנלמדים ברבים ואשר הוא מהלוקחים חלק בראש בזה ולומד דא"ח ברבים בכמה מקומות ובודאי יוסיף בזה ובפרט שחוננו השי"ת בתלמידים מקשיבים, ויה"ר שגם התלמידים יעשו טופחים ע"מ להטפיח ויעוין בתוספתא עדיות פרק ד' מי שיש לו תלמידים לתלמידיו כו'.
כיון שלא לכל אחד יש יכולת הכניסה לחוגים מסוימים בין החרדים אשר בירושלים עיה"ק ת"ו מובן שכל אחד שיש לו יכולת זו צריך להשתדל לנצלה ביותר וביותר, כי זכות מיוחדת היא וד"ל. וע"ד מה שכתבתי גם להרה"ג והרה"ג כו' אברהם צבי הכהן שי' וכדאי שיתייעצו שניהם יחד איך לשתף פעולה במיוחד בענין זה וכנראה וכמובא גם ברז"ל אשר משא שמגביהים שנים בשיתוף פעולתה היא הרבה יותר מכפל של משא הנגבה ע"י יחיד, ויקוים בהם פס"ד של בי"ד של מעלה הידוע אשר בגלל המס"נ הלזו - של רבנו הזקן - הנה בכל ענין של תורה יראת שמים ומדות טובות תהי' יד מקושריו והולכי בעקבותיו על העליונה.

I hereby acknowledge receipt of your letter from Sunday, and regarding what you wrote about being pained by my words about the weakening in hafatzah (spreading Chassidus), justifying that there was not a complete cessation of spreading. It seems clear to me that I did not write "completely," but only regarding a weakening. However, practically speaking, a weakening in hafatzah means that the books of Chassidus reached a smaller number of people; that is, for some people the matter was stopped. And since none of us knows to what extent this goes, one must utilize every opportunity even if it does not fit the usual order—as is known from the words of my revered teacher the Rebbe Maharash, which are quoted in the introduction to Kuntres Uma'ayan (see there). I do not wish to elaborate on this since you write that going forward you will correct the matter. May it be G‑d's will that the correction will match your name—as explained in Iggeres HaTeshuvah by our master the Alter Rebbe at the end of chapter 9.
Many thanks for the good news about increasing public study sessions of Chassidus and that you are among those taking a leading role in this and learning Chassidus publicly in several places. Certainly you will increase this further, especially since Hashem has granted you attentive students. May it be G‑d's will that these students themselves become "those who cause others to overflow," as explained in Tosefta Eduyos chapter 4: "One who has students—his students..."
Since not everyone has access to certain circles among the charedim (the ultra-Orthodox) in Jerusalem, it is understood that anyone who does have this ability must strive to utilize it as much as possible—this is a special merit. Enough said.
Regarding what I wrote also to Haraha"g and Haraha"g etc. Avraham Tzvi HaKohen—it would be worthwhile for both of you to consult together on how best to collaborate on this matter specifically. As is apparent and also brought by our Sages: when two people lift a burden together, their combined effort is much more than double what one can lift alone. May you both fulfill the well-known ruling from the Heavenly Court: because of such self-sacrifice—of our master the Alter Rebbe—in every matter of Torah, fear of Heaven, and good character traits, his followers and those who walk in his path will always prevail.
