I acknowledge receipt of your letter from the 28th of Kislev and previous ones, and certainly the connections between the members of the network's administration, among the administration itself and with the teachers, are being strengthened more and more. In this, surely organizing a general program for the network's institutions will help, for even though local conditions may require some changes from one school to another, these are surely only minor changes. It is possible to allow each principal and teacher in his class to add appropriate modifications to the general point according to specific conditions.

Regarding what you wrote about the wording on memorial plaques, it should be arranged in such a way that either the name of my revered father-in-law, the Rebbe, is mentioned or at least Chabad-Lubavitch is included. The reasons are understood: anyone who reads the plaque will also mention these words, thereby arousing merit for others. This is sufficient explanation.

My letter in response to his mother—may she live long—has surely been received by now. ... Surely the days of Yud-Tes Kislev and Chanukah were utilized in a fitting manner in the schools of the network.
